Trimming Techniques

Sharpen your skills without the stress! Trimming Techniques is a focused, hands-on workshop designed to help in-house students + members refine their approach to trimming — from the basics to more advanced methods.

Participants will work with studio-provided greenware so you can practice confidently, without risking your own work. You'll learn to:

• Center and stabilize for clean, consistent trimming

• Use trimming tools with control and purpose

• Shape and finish foot rings and bases with intention

• Work with chucks and the Giffin Grip for trimming bowls, bottles, and other irregular forms
