Tiny Tarantulas

This workshop is suited for artists ages 4 - 12.

It may be a little early for Halloween, but this September is already feeling spooky with this kids' workshop!  Young artists will first get an opportunity to meet our special guest, a beautiful (albeit hairy!) tarantula named StarFire who belongs to Tatem, our skilled instructor.  She will demonstrate how StarFire is fed while answering questions from the audience.  Afterwards, each child will receive an unglazed ceramic spider to paint themselves - they can make it as cute or as creepy as they'd like!  Finished items will be fired in our studio kiln and ready for pick up 2-3 weeks after the event.
