Texture Techniques - Thursday Evenings

In Texture Techniques, you'll explore the countless ways texture can transform a simple piece of clay into something truly unique. Throughout this supplemental course, you'll experiment with carving, stamping, layering, impressing, masking, and additive techniques to create surfaces full of depth, movement, and personality.

Whether you're drawn to clean geometric patterns, organic botanical impressions, rustic weathered surfaces, or bold contemporary designs, this class will give you the confidence to develop your own visual style.

Perfect for: Students who have completed Beginning Basics/HandBuilding (or have equivalent pottery experience) and want to expand their creative toolbox through exploration. Not suitable for those just starting their ceramics journey.

This Texture Techniques course runs for five weeks on Thursdays 630-8p (there is no class on Thanksgiving).
