Spring ClayCamp: Pasta Parade

We offer a different project each day of Spring ClayCamp, so you can register for either session per day (there is a morning session from 9am-12pm or an afternoon session from 1pm-4pm) and have a new creative project to make each day of the week! This event is for Friday, April 10th.

Twirls, tubes, and tiny wheels of pasta become surprising art tools in this pasta themed Clay Camp! While clay and ceramics are at the heart of each session, young artists (ages 6-10) will also experiment with a mixed media activity on theme. Participants will create two projects: a ceramic wall pocket and pasta jewelry. 

Students will create a colorful pasta necklace, painting and stringing pasta pieces together to create a fun wearable work of art. Then, artists will create a ceramic wall pocket using hand building techniques. They will use pasta to create surface designs, shape it into a…
