Spring ClayCamp: Flower Frenzy

We offer a different project each day of Spring ClayCamp, so you can register for either session per day (there is a morning session from 9am-12pm or an afternoon session from 1pm-4pm) and have a new creative project to make each day of the week! This event is for Monday, April 6th.

Flowers are in bloom for this fun flower-themed Clay Camp designed for kids (ages 6-10)! While clay and ceramics are at the heart of each session, young artists will also experiment with a mixed media activity on theme. Youth artists will create two fun projects: a ceramic flower dish and a colorful watercolor flower! 

Participants will be exploring how flowers are made of simple shapes like circles and petals by creating a watercolor flower craft. Then artists will build their own dish using hand building techniques, shaping clay petals and flower centers to create a beautiful floral design.…
