About the event
Celebrate Pride Month at EarthWorks ClaySpace with Queer Clay — a joyful, welcoming creative space centered around self-expression, community, and making art together. Whether you’re part of the LGBTQ+ community or an ally, these workshops are designed to be relaxed, inclusive, beginner-friendly, and full of color, connection, and creativity.
Create a one-of-a-kind ceramic mug completely from scratch using handbuilding techniques. Participants will shape and decorate their own functional piece, then customize it with meaningful words, affirmations, inside jokes, pronouns, symbols, or Pride-inspired designs using colorful underglazes and texture tools.
No clay experience needed — just come ready to create, connect, and celebrate being unapologetically yourself.
Finished mugs will be glazed and kiln-fired by the EWCS team and ready for pickup approximately four weeks after the workshop.
Artists 18+ only.
