Pencil Cups (Celebrate Back to School!)

Create a handbuilt pencil cup then decorate it using various techniques you will learn from our talented instructor, Tatem Schaefer. It can be used to hold pencils or trinkets -- if it's sealed well enough, you could even enjoy your favorite beverage out of it! She will first show you how to use myriad tools to create textures and movement that can be applied to whatever type of clay art you create. You'll then use beautiful glazes to paint it. This workshop is great for both new artists to our studio as well as returning students looking to try something different!

Once you’ve created your piece, we handle the rest!  After two rounds of firing in our kiln, it will be food-safe!  Your ceramic masterpiece will be done and ready for pick-up in approximately four weeks.
