Jack o' Lantern Jar

Light up spooky season with a handmade Jack-O’-Lantern that’s entirely your own!

In this family-friendly handbuilding workshop, artists will create a lidded ceramic jar inspired by the classic jack-o’-lantern—but pumpkins are only the beginning. Design a silly smile, spooky face, friendly ghost, mischievous monster, or whatever creature you can dream up. We’ll guide you through building your jar, adding a fitted lid and stem, and cutting out features so your creation can glow from within.

No ceramics experience is needed, and artists of all ages are welcome. Younger makers may need a little help from their grown-up, making this a great workshop to create together.

After the workshop, we’ll take care of drying, firing, glazing and finishing your piece. Once complete, pop a candle inside and watch your one-of-a-kind creation come to life!

Finished work will be ready to be picked up in approximately four weeks.
