ClayClub: Clay Maracas

We offer a different activity each week of ClayClub, so you can register for different sessions and have a new creative project to make each time! There will be 2 opportunities this week (both Tuesday AND Thursday) with the same project.

Shake up some creativity in this fun Clay Club workshop! Young artists will design and create their very own ceramic maracas, perfect for making music and expressing their style.

Artists will use hand-building techniques to shape and assemble their maracas, then add texture and details for a unique look. Finally, they’ll decorate their creations with colorful glazes to bring their instruments to life.

This project supports fine motor skills, problem-solving, and imaginative design in a supportive, kid-friendly environment. No prior clay experience needed. All pieces will be dried, fired, and finished by the studio, ready to enjoy.
