Tiny Tarantulas

This workshop is suited for artists ages 4 - 12.

Young artists will first get an opportunity to meet our special guests: two beautiful (albeit hairy!) tarantulas named Chili and Fozzie, and Topaz the scorpion who belongs to Tatem, our skilled instructor.  She will demonstrate how they are fed while answering questions from the audience.  Afterwards, each child will receive an unglazed ceramic spider to paint themselves - they can make it as cute or as creepy as they'd like!  Finished items will be fired in our studio kiln and ready for pick up 2-3 weeks after the event.
