Throw a Pumpkin

All artists must feel have previous pottery wheel experience and be able to pull cylinders, ages 16+ welcome.

In this fun autumn-themed class, artists will have the opportunity to create clay pumpkins on the wheel. Kerry Brooke, our talented instructor, will provide a demonstration, utilizing different techniques and skills to personalize the pumpkin. Artists will then have a chance to practice making their own under her instruction. After working with the clay to form their unique piece, each participant will choose a beautiful glaze that the piece will be finished with. Pumpkins will then be fired in our studio kiln (twice!) and ready for pick up approximately four weeks after the event.
