Spring ClayCamp: Lovely Ladybugs

We offer a different project each day of Spring ClayCamp, so you can register for either session per day (there is a morning session from 9am-12pm or an afternoon session from 1pm-4pm) and have a new creative project to make each day of the week! This event is for Thursday, April 9th.

Get ready for a spot-tacular art adventure in this ladybug themed Clay Camp! While clay and ceramics are at the heart of each session, young artists (ages 6-10) will also experiment with a mixed media activity on theme. Participants will create two projects: a ceramic ladybug dish and an apple stamp ladybug painting. 

Youth artists will create a fun ladybug art print using apples to stamp the bug’s wings. They’ll add googly eyes, antennae, and playful details to turn their prints into silly, smiling ladybugs. Then, students will build their own ladybug dish using hand-building techniques. They will shape…
