About the event
SpinSquad is designed for youth ages 8-14 who want a lesson on the pottery wheel! After an introduction to the studio, you'll get a live demonstration of how to use the wheel before getting individualized instruction to make a small piece you're proud of - or at least something other than a muddy mess! From centering to pulling to creating a one-of-a-kind work of art, artists truly enjoy this memorable experience.
No previous experience is required—this class is all about the joy of exploring the material and seeing where your creativity leads. Each class brings new ways to discover and connect with the medium, leaving behind any pressure to produce finished, "perfect" pieces. This class is great for anyone looking to relax and have fun while discovering the magic of working with clay!
