Hanging Hearts

Celebrate Valentine’s season with clay in this creative handbuilding workshop. Participants will create a one of a kind ceramic hanging heart decorated using the sgraffito technique—carving designs through colored slip to reveal the clay beneath. Each participant will get to make 2 or 3 hearts total, which will be finished with a clear gloss and ribbon/twine to hang them up.

This workshop is perfect for beginners and artists of all ages. All pieces will be dried, fired, and finished by the studio, ready to hang and enjoy or gift to someone special. Finished items ready for pick up four weeks after the event.
